Flower Care Guide

If you received a bouquet, make sure to follow the tips + steps below so that your flowers last as long as possible:

1. Completely unwrap your bouquet from paper and floral tape/string

2. Using a pair of sharp scissors or sheers, cut about an inch off the bottom stems of the the flowers.

3. Fill a clean vase with room temperature water about 3/4 of the way and place flowers in vase. If you would like to add a homemade flower food mix, combine 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of bleach to your vase before adding about a quart of lukewarm water. Flowers drink a lot of water so make sure to also keep the water level high.

4. It is really important you also make sure that there are no leaves under the water line (remove the leaves if so). Leaves in the water will cause bacteria to grow much faster. Flowers are very sensitive to any bacteria in the water.

5. Completely refresh your vase water every 2-3 days.

6. Keep flowers away from drafts, hot places or ripening fruit.

If you received an arrangement, make sure to follow the tips + steps below so that your arrangement lasts as long as possible:

1. Keep your flowers hydrated! Flowers drink a lot of water - especially in the Miami heat. Simply add water to your vase as the flowers drink it up.

2. Completely change the water in your arrangement every 2 - 3 days. The easiest way to do this with an already assembled arrangement is to simply flush out the old water by running the vase water under the faucet.

3. Your arrangement does not come with flower food in it. If you would like to add a homemade flower food mix, combine 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of bleach to your vase before adding about a quart of lukewarm water.

4. Keep flowers away from any drafts, hot places or ripening fruit.
